Default M&P340 CT

Anyone own one of these? I'm considering it for my next purchase, small, light, looks like a nice 2nd EDC.

Just basically started to consider a revolver, and from the website, this keeps jumping out at me.

Product: Model M&P340 CT - No Internal Lock

I have been walking around all day with one in my pocket.

Great gun to carry and defend your life with, but do not plan any long drawn out ranges sessions with it.

They said the same thing about the 44 Magnum when it came out

Then they said it about the 500 Magnum

I have put roughly 7000 full 357 magnum loads (not short barrel 357Lites) through my 340s since then have been purchased and never fractured a wrist yet.

Default Do it

In the past, If I was only carrying one gun it was a 442. Wanting to put a better front sight on the J Frame (for those 300 yard sniper missions...) led me to the M&P 340.

I've since traded out the 442 for the 340. Now if I'm only carrying one, it's the M&P 340.

Often people will chime in to say they can't shoot a magnum load out of it. Others have no problem.

It's a 357 but you don't have to carry that round if you don't want. Carry a 38 +P load. You still get the better sight, a lighter gun, and the ability to shoot 357's if you want.

Do it!

I kinda like it. Wouldn't mind getting myself. I can't afford one but I wouldn't mind having one.
