Default Gun show this weekend

we have a medium sized gun show coming up this sat and sunday, i've got money but i also have the below pic'd 1982 Nickel 6" 586 with perfect stocks and a set of Hogue Big Butts, only has 6 rounds through it since i got it from the original owner.
it will never get shot, so it just gets fondled. i really want a 4" or a snubby SS or nickel 19-2, 686 or 586, pre lock of course. what can i expect realistically to get for the gun either in trade or cash outright. it is extremely shiny, pics don't do it justice at all, but i would rather have a BBQ gun that will at least get shot. my EDC's are plastic fantastics. thanx in advance:

I just sold a blue 6" on gunbroker for $600 plus shipping. As a trade, you can only expect to get wholesale value for it.

yeah i know about trade value, shame the 6" is not as coveted as the 4".

I would keep the 586 and would shoot it every chance I got. You will not find a better shooter, you can't wear it out, you will dazzle them at the range and really how much less would it be worth if you shoot it?
