I bought a new S&W 686 deluxe (7 rds) 3" round butt Talo Edition recently. And I would like to find a nice holster for it.

I'd like something like the Galco DAO, but unsure how it might fit my gun. 7 round cylinder instead of 6 & 3" barrel instead of 4"?

Any ideas from the forum?

I've got a 686+ with 7 round cylinder and it fits the same holsters made for a 6 round 686. I can also get it to fit most holsters made for a Ruger GP100. Now I'm not familiar with that Galco model holster but if you can't find a 3" holster, I know Ray at Lobo Gun Leather can get you straight.

I'm not sure if this is the same holster (probably - but you know how things can change without warning) but I have a Galco that I use for both my 3" 686 and my 4" GP-100, and I like it a lot. It's a little on the bulky side for IWB but I just dress around it. Not too spendy, and it's held up well thus far.
