Default Model 325 Night Guard Questions

I found a 325 Night Guard NIB today, problem is they want $1099 for it and will not deal.

This raises two questions in my mind:

First: Is this a reasonable price for a NIB discontinued model?

Second: For those who have/had one, I would like to solicit opinions as I feel more comfortable with old S&W's and have only had one "lock" gun.

Thanks,

Bill

Bill-

It is a GREAT revolver..but too high of price..One on the forum for sale for 900...I paid 815 for mine a few months back...

The 325,327,329 were mass produced, but discontinued...the 357 & 310 are much rarer...but In my opinion...You will LOVE the 325 Nightguard..

Palmetto State Armory in Columbia SC (Fernandina Rd) has one sitting in the case for $899 with 10% off sale going on right now making it a little over $800. Saw it Friday right next to the 329 Night Guard I picked up to match my 325 I got from them a few months ago....

It is NOT on their website...they often have guns in store that never make it on the web. Don't know if they will sell over the phone and ship to your FFL or not, but worth a call maybe. Call the STORE not the website order number- they run it like two separate business. Which can be a PITA for us locals.

The 325NG is a great pistol.
I had a consecutive pair.
One in the safe, picture attached.
The other sits in jjbrewst1'd safe, I sold it to him!

If you can get one between 800-900 you're doing good.
I just had a pair of Spegel's made for mine.

Second the 325NG being a great revolver- liked mine so much I later picked up a 329NG as a mate to it!
Sort of keeping an eye out for a 327NG now also

I bought a Model 29 no dash four screw today so the Nightguard is out for now. Squirrel fun is suffering.

I called today about the night guard.....they do have one but the guy said they don't ship from any of the stores.

Does anyone that lives in the area want to help me out and possibly buy and ship it to my FFL ? I am in Texas...maybe use my CC over the phone from the store or something like that ?

Thanks in advance.

Quite sure that would be known as the old straw purchase even if intending to ship through a different FFL. Doubtful that you'll find any takers on that one.

Sent you a PM with the email of a local FFL that might help you out...
I think an FFL can do what you want, but as mentioned it would be illegal for us regular people to do it!
