Ahrends N frame square butt boot

Does anyone use these square butt N frame boot grips?

They have two finger grooves, but one groove is wider than the other.

Is the intention to have two fingers on the top groove and one finger on the other, or are these really intended for two finger holds?

I have Ahrends boot grips on a round butt N frame, but the principle is the same. There are two finger grooves for two fingers. You pinky loops under the end of the grip. That's okay for recoil, but you will notice the gun torques significantly to the left when shooting .44 Mag. A longer grip might give better control of torque for a faster followup.
