6" M19 current production?
Saw one at LGS. If it was used I'd be surprised, no apparent turn line. Patridge front site (white paint), latest targets with speedloader clearance. It didn't lite my fire so I didn't ask to handle it.

I didn't get that memo either. Any links? A few years back there was a special run of Model 19s as part of the current "Classic" series, in .38 Special and, if I recall, 4" barrel.
Thought OP might be talking about the current iteration of the 6" 586...

It is blue, I'm petty sure it is a M19... as the tag said. Most shops use different tags for used but these were all the same. Probably a safe queen.
I own (2) M19s & (3) M66s.

That was a Model 15, with a shrouded ejector rod.

Woof. Right you are. Never understood what S&W was thinking on that one.

The gun is 6" bbl, shrouded ejector rod, patridge front side (rear face painted white. I believe I read M19 through the case but it might have been a shrouded 6" M15 if in fact the classic series came like that. Kind of makes some sense since the grips were latest style.
I recall it was no bargain so I walked. I don't usually get to that area but I might just to satisfy my curiosity & to put my greasy fingerprints on it. Need my reading glasses too.
