Default Model 60 stamping

Let me try this again. I think I was too hasty in my excitement yesterday when I posted. I've got better pics too. This is the Model 60 I picked up yesterday. The condition is nearly flawless. With the BAB prefix I know it's probably a 60-3 about 1988 vintage. It could be a late 60-2 but I don't know the difference in the new yoke retention system on the -3's. My question is about the stamping on the frame. It is only stamped 'Mod. 60'. No, my 67 just has 'Mod. 67' but I know it's a no dash. Is it common for S&W not to stamp the revision #?
