Finally found one!
Picked this up after showing up late to the gun show today and only 3 tables into it! It's a 625-3 4". Not the original box or papers or tools, but have some included. Which leads to my questions, they came in the one piece blue and white cardboard box originally right? What manual came with it as the one I have in the box just says Modern Revolvers and has some NRA signup stuff that is dated from 2008? Also, which set of tools came with it and was there one of those flat round screwdrivers with blades included to adjust the sights with? I think I did good in the price. Got him down a bit from asking and was happy slapping my money down and showing my ugly drivers license picture to get it.

Good looking 625. Doesn't appear to have had much use. Hang on to that one if the urge comes along to trade it for "xxxx." If you let it go, you will regret it. In my experience those are usually the best shooting .45 revolver S&W ever made.

Would that have been the show in Berea, Ohio? First building, table on the left side, going down the first isle? Lots of Smith & Wessons under a glass case? If so, I looked at it too. Passed only because it didn't have the numbers matching box. That was a very clean pistol. The guys name is John, always has some very nice stuff. If you got him down any at all you did well. His asking price was very fair in my opinion. Enjoy it!! Best regards, Bob.

BRatliff, you are absolutely correct on the guy. I have looked here and other gun forums for the last 3 years at least trying to find any one of the three barrel lengths. I just happened to be very lucky yesterday. Not planning on parting with it any time soon. Now to just get it to the range and see how well I can shoot it!
