The grips on the right are smooth factory K-frame target stocks for a round butt revolver. The wood looks like Goncalo Alves. I don't believe smooth grips like this were standard on any S&W revolver, although a checkered walnut version was standard on the 3" 547 9mm revolver.

The grips on the left are factory combats made of what looks like Morado to me. Likely N-frame and are definitely 2nd generation combats as evidenced by the flat sides and the speed loader cutout on both panels. These grips were standard on a number of N-frame revolvers back before the factory wood shop closed down.

Can't tell you exactly all the guns they were offered with. I do know that my 629-3 DX was outfitted with them. Actually it came with 2 sets of grips. The 2nd gen combats and a set of goodyear Hogues.

On a further note, most of the magna classics I've seen(and let slip through my hands) had the morado combats.
