Amazed and Humbled....
I am amazed and humbled by the friendships I have made on this forum of the past dozen or so years....
Today when I opened my mailbox there was a package from my friend, Paul "Weatherby" Jones. Seeing my 65-5 Ladysmith with diamondwood stocks he took pity upon me...
Before:
After:
The grain in these stocks is beautiful.
Smooth K-Round Butt Gonacalo stocks are not common and they look right at home.
This lady is proper now! I won't trash the diamondwood panels as they are origional and correct for this issue, but while I have it this lady will wear this wood. Thanks Paul!

The 3" HB, RB, fixed sight K frames are fine carry guns. While I like those stocks, I find them to be slippery in the Georgia heat and humidity.

Nice looking, but I prefer standard checkered diamondwood service stocks for carry. They might not be as pretty as those but they give a better grip under certain conditions.
No pity is necessary on anyone's part.

True enough Jay, but my shirt always hangs up on the checkering. I prefer the smooth wood for keeping me concealed.

This 65-5 is highly collectable and won't see any carry service.... as such, I can afford to put on some slippery, shiny and pretty shoes...

Just a ripple back from all the help and guidance you've given us.
They come Hunter approved BTW.
Only steered me wrong that once
