Forged target trigger for 617-6?
My other competition revolvers (625-3 and 629-4) have forged "target" triggers.
Would like the same feel in my new 617-6.
So, the question is - can a forged trigger be made to work in a MIM/-IL gun?
That's assuming, of course, that the MIM hand can be retained.

Yes, this can be done. My 6" 617-4 has a forged trigger and hammer that replaced the MIM parts. The previous owner sent it back to the factory to have this done but it shouldn't be tough to do with the right parts.

Thanks,
Installed a .400" smooth trigger yesterday.
Fit perfectly, runs as it was designed to do.

My early 686-0 has a .500" forged trigger with a MIM target hammer.
