Default S&W M629-2 Worth?

I have a 629 hunter classic/classic hunter? I bought it back in the early 90's. Its came with Hogue grips, has unfluted cylinder, 8 3/8'' barrel, and full under lug. I was told they only made just over 6,000 of these.I want to sell/trade for a new S&W 40 auto. Can't seem to find a listing anywhere for my .44 mag. Can anyone tell me what they think this gun is worth?

What I would do: take the scope off-put on some Hogue "Lamo Camo" grips, or any nice set of targets, take a bunch of really good pics, put it on GB in a penny-no reserve auction. sell the scope separately on ebay-or keep it. Mine brought a very good price. By the way-I have a 4006 in pristine condition with extra mags that we could consider a partial trad-or did you want plastic?

I'm actually looking at getting a M&P 40 Flat Dark Earth or M&P 40 VTEC.
Thanks anyway. By the way, Thank you for your service ( Army )
