Default 629 Vcomp Timing problem or something else?

Hi all I picked up a new 629 Vcomp couple weeks ago. I have not had much time to play with it due to work schedule, I was dry firing it last night when I ran into a problem.

When I pull the trigger in double action every 4th trigger pull the pistol locks up the trigger wont move you cant thumb the hammer back, if you rock the trigger back and forth a bit it eventually starts working again, when you thumb the hammer back it fires once pull the hammer back again it locks up everytime. I can either wiggle the cylinder a bit and it starts working or I can open the cylinder and close it and it fires but cycle repeats itself. Also in double action the trigger is heavy for comparison my 329pd feels like it has a smoother trigger pull then the Vcomp.

I love my Smiths and this is the first problem I have had with one, is this something easy to fix I am revolver problem solving noob or should I just send it back to S&W to be fixed its brand new

thanks for the help

I would call S&W for a return tag and send it back. Turn around time should be minimal since it goes through the performance center.
