Default M617 .22 LR Value

Here's a quickie: I have a chance to pick up a 95%-97% 6-inch M617 (6-shot)... it has the Hogue rubber grips and looks great. Is $600-$650 a good price? What say the masses?

I would say anything under 700.00 is a deal these days. Actually I would say 700.00 was a deal too for a no lock model.

Seems a tad high but probably a pretty good price in this market. If I were selling it I'd think it was worth that much.

I agree, good price, especially if its a pre-lock model. I gave 700 for a 617-1, 4 incher about a year or so ago and thought I got a good deal.

If offered in the Denver area for that price range, I doubt it would last the day.

Yea, its a 617-1 model, so it may be worth the $600-$650...

Sounds like a good price. You should go ahead and buy it.

If you're looking for one, I'd buy it. You'd have a hard time doing much better. Personally, I'd prefer a dash-one over a new one. The Hogues are likely original. Smith put them on a lot of their L & N frames from the late '80's thru the first decade of the 2000's.
