Default Saw a Nice 25-5 Today

At the LGS. 3T's, beautiful blue, excellent condition overall!

Only reason I'm not posting about how I'm waiting for the 10 day DROS is because it is a 6".

If it was a 4" I'd a hurt myself getting the money out of my pocket.

I have a 25-7 and a Ruger New Vaquero 3.75" Birdshead to feed the 45 LC addiction. That and no room in the safe, so I'm getting picky about the next piece.

New territory for me.

The 25-5 had beautiful stag magnas and a Tyler T and truth be told, they made the gun! Felt like it belonged in my hand. Unbelievably good.

So, I sit here and type with the regret of not buying it, but I stated my reasons and I have to live with it.

Anyone in Pacifica go have a look, you know where.

I passed on a 25-2 at a heck of a price a few years back. I still am kicking myself for not buying it. I did go back the next day but, it was gone.

OP - If your resolve weakens, just make sure that you measure the chamber throats before you plunk down your hard-earned cash.

Adios,

Pizza Bob

If it is a post P&R I would strongly be thinking about it if the price is right.

I have a 4", 25-5 with three letter suffix and the correct cylinder throats, my pops has the 8-3/8" P&R with slightly oversized throats. They both shoot lights out with my reloads, 45LC is a favorite!!!!

This is one of the good ones, no pin.

In fact, this is one of the 25-5's that makes grown men weep, the blue is so good.

Like I said, if it was a 4", I'd be showing you purchased pics.

I bought this 25-5 quite a few years ago. I never measured the throats but it shoots just the same as the 24-3 under it. I havent shot it very much at all as the 24 is a favorite and a little lighter to pack. It is the 3 T`s. I just put the stags on to match the 24.

Another shot of it with faux ivory.
