After some discussion this week regarding the details of his 170086 Light Hunter wildwest asked me to post some pictures he was having trouble uploading.

Enjoy the pictures of his 170086 6" 7-shot for RSR GB Hunter ie Light Hunter per picture 1.

I really can't tell his from mine . I wonder what makes it a "Light" Hunter ? My SpecOrd is 6218 , so they were making these around the same time . Ok , had to go back to the bible . Mine says Hunter on the end label , but it's not a 686 Hunter , which has its own product code , 170021 , which I thought I had . I looked under 686 Competitor , and there's a list of PC 686 codes . It lists mine as a LH Hunter , 170079 , with a sn# of LHC009* . The above , 170086 , is an RSR GB Hunter . I have no idea what GB stands for , but there it is . I have no idea what the S&W collectors of years past used to do without the Standard Catalog , but it must have made more than one person want to tear their hair out trying to figure this stuff out . My hats off to Jim Supica , which I had the pleasure of meeting , and Richard Nahas .
