Had a good 3 weeks and picked up a few. Took a Break from the 3.5's and went back to my roots for awhile.

Tried to get Cute and Make A wheel and of course I messed it up, but still looks Cool. I should have done a big wheel but I was too Lazy.

Thought I would share.

Paul. I picked up one of those too. Ol Dan (dotdsd334) found it and is sending her my way. It pays to have good friends.

It will be here end of week. I have a pic. Just not a pretty one.

Jim ... I've been waiting to see that 1937 you recently picked up. Looking forward to the range report!

Keep me on the short list if you ever decide to part with it.

I would take the 1937 over all the rest of them combined. Seriously.

But that's a moot point, anyway, because:
A. You aren't going to sell it, and
B. I couldn't afford it if you did sell it.

Dumb question here: Is this a Brazilian Contract revolver?

Could we see some more photographs of it?

Thanks for those.

I'm curious. Other than cutting and recrowning the barrel, adding the stags and grip adapter, and reattaching the front sight, what else was done to this gun to make this a custom gun. Action work? Shims? And I can see the barrel shortening retained the markings on the sides of the barrel, but I guess it took away about 50% of the markings on the top of the barrel. Did you polish off the remainder of those? And is that the original front sight?

It's an interesting looking gun, and I see several for sale online. Your gun has piqued my interest.

Thanks again for the extra photos.

I bought it off the forum awhile back. The forum member did all the work himself. Using the original sight. I think he installed a Wolfe spring kit, I changed out main spring and put a stiffer rebound spring in as I had some reset issues. It solved the problem.

It shoots like a dream. All numbers match and you are correct the top barrel marking we're cut short but remain on top

I thought about putting a nickel plate on it, but I just love it the way it is.

And my boys feel the same. We put around 150 rounds thru it so far.

+1 on the jealous.
I'll have one of each, please. Oh, wait! I'll take two 66-4's.
One snubbie, and another if there's a 4"!

Indeed, that '37 is my favorite of the bunch as well. I like it with the stags and black adapter.
