Default 1994 Model 10

Hi, I'm looking for some information on my Model 10 .38 3" Brazil. SN: BPY2640, Product code 100135 Spec Ord 3341. I bought it new in 1994. Just wondering about what it might go for now.

Thanks in advance.

The ship date, based on the Spec Ord #, is December 7, 1993. SCSW says they where 3" RB's made for export to Brazil in 1994. The product code is unique to that variation. You might be able to google that and find more info. A 3" M10 in very good condition, with box, is going to sell in the $400 to $550 range. I don't think the Brazil angle adds much, if anything, maybe meaningful to someone from Brazil or interested in FIFA soccer. 3-inchers are not that common.

Typical 3" Model 10"s do not have the shrouded ejector rods that the Brazil editions have. That is the unique feature that would make one of these particularly desirable to a collector. Normal 3" Model 10's NIB seem to fetch $600 - $700 around here. If your "Brazil" is NIB then the $800 - $900 range. You never know on the auction sites some folks get emotional and start paying stupid money.

Best Regards,
ADP3

Thanks for the quick responses. I appreciate the info. This will certainly help should I go to sell or trade it.

Ah, I see, a "shrouded" 3", that's what makes it special. Pretty cool.

I should have included this picture with the shrouded ejector rod with the initial post.
