Question Question: Model 360pd 357 Snub Nose Problem

Hello all:

I am having a problem with my "new to me" Model 360PD 357 snubbie. Problem, the trigger pull is extremely long and stacking.

I am new to the SW J Frame. And I hate to have to work on a $1019 gun "right out of the box."

I may be comparing "apples to oranges," keep in mind I have been carrying, practicing, and shooting a Ruger LCR 357.

Just want to know if the SW should be anything like the Ruger; and what can be done about the "stacking issue?"

And I know about snap caps, dry firing, and trigger jobs. But something seems wrong with a (semi) new gun that acts this way.

Keep in mind I am not ragging on SW products--just asking.

Advise with kindness when possible.

Default

Install an Apex Spring and action kit.

Coil spring guns are very hard on these new J frames. Or work the action along time and it may soften up
