Default Price check 625-2 stamped Model of 1988

I am looking at this 625-2 stamped model of 1988 on the barrel. No box or documents. It would be for plinking and "the heck of it." It's being offered for $850 without the aftermarket wood grips. I have not looked at it. They guy offering it says it's in excellent condition. What's a fair price?

$850 is in the ballpark, but without the box and with such an pronounced drag line, I'd say it's getting close to the center field fence.

Default Price Check....625-2 5"

I sold one about 9 months ago for $800
Mine had everything with it....Just like it came from the factory.
I did have a few rounds fired from it and I got it from a member here NIB..about 3 years ago?? It cost me $700 and a hour drive.

Don't know current prices. In 2006 I bought a pristine 625-2 for $600 OTD. Numerous individuals at this site urged me to make the buy. They gave excellent advice. It is an outstanding revolver, one of the most accurate revolvers I've ever owned/fired. Very much well worth the money then. Nowadays... would do it again! my absolute favorite N-frame revolver.
