Default New Bodyguard 38

My LGS just got in a new Bodyguard 38 now with a Crimson Trace laser. Examining it the CT laser set up is much more streamline than the Insight Technologies one it replaces. The function is the same as before but this unit is definitely better quality and may boost sales as potential buyers check them out.

I bought a BG38 several years ago and after malfunctions and the second trip back to S&W it was replaced with a 642 J-frame.

I'm sure I got a lemon, but I would make sure to get a comfortable number of rounds through any BG38 before I would trust it for self defense.

OBTW, during the time I owned it, the laser was flawless.

Just one man's opinion.

I was wondering if they improved the tactile activation of the laser. I wish they would offer a real crimson trace unit. My main complaint on the BG38 is the laser.
