Kuracs on my 629 - wanted to share! (Pics added 10/06/14)
I wanted to share some Pics of a set of Kuracs on my 629-1.
They are French Walnut signature grade stocks. I just got them, and I'll be getting a set for my Model 19-4 shortly as well.
These are actually too nice for this gun. I feel like they belong on something special, not a plain Jane old 629-1. But I just love the way smooth Targets look on a Stainless or nickel Revolver.
Some more pics added 10/06/14:
The back of the grips, check out the palmswell - they fit my hand perfectly!
A close up - the wood grain is so beautiful:
Another of the right side:
And one more of the left:
I just can't tell you how nice these stocks are. The gun is not worthy of them!

Thank You, the pics really came out nicely, although, they don't do the stocks justice.
If anyone is on the fence about getting a set of Kuracs, don't be.
Great person to work with, and his wife is super great to work with as well, and his work and work- product are top notch.

The grips look great and you are right, they are the best in the business to deal with!

Yessir... he has definitely taken it to a completely different level compared to when he first started selling grips here on the forum, and it has been fun to watch how he has progressed.
I have a number of the "original" grips that I bought a year or so after joining the forum on 2002, and they all pale in comparison to his current stuff, and I thought they were great back then when I got them. And now? Boy Howdy... I'd have to put him in the ranks of Keith Brown's work.

Those are a work of art. I need to look into those for one of my "plain Janes".

I agree - I can't wait until his next offerings are out there.
I have commissioned a set of N-Frame and a set of K-Frame Stocks for some other guns.
