Default 29-3 & the Black Talon

I picked-up this box from a buddy at work a few months ago. It was short 6 rounds, but the box will fit nicely into my ammo collection.
Back in 91' or 92', I actually won 3 boxes of 9mm Black Talon from a gun shop raffle (who knows what I ever did with those).

Here's a few Sunday boredom pics.
Enjoy.

Another old .44 Mag ammo box I have.

I've still got some .45 ACP, .44 Magnum, and .357 Magnum Black Talon ammo lying around. There is better ammo out these days...BT is old tech.

I've got plenty of modern stuff. I just like it for the nostalgia.

BT wasn't great when it was new.
Low velocities/mediocre accuracy.
In .45 ACP, the 200 grain flying ashtray was/is unbeatable.

I wish I'd bought some of that Black Lightning ammo in the 90s.
The slogan was "Final Judgment".
It would be cool for the ammo collection.
I wouldn't use it for SD, with a slogan like that.

I have some 45 and 9mm I got from my brother. It may not be up to todays' standards, but after looking at them, I would not want to get hit by one.

Great looking revolver. I also have some BT .44s I used to use with my 16" Winchester Trapper. I thought it may be a bit of a handful out of my 4" M29.

Me too. I just have it around purely for nostalgia and the historical aspect of it. I just remember all the hype about it, crazy.
