It depends, simple or warranty work seems to return more quickly. A call to customer service should answer your question.

I sent my "new" 386 Night Guard in two weeks ago as well. I am in email communication with the lady who issued the return tag. I have emailed her a couple of times and she has kept me posted. Probably get it back in a couple of weeks.

Just email the service center your serial number and they will let you know the status.

Default Not a good experience...

Sent in my Performance Center M&P 327 R8 for repair, because of a squib round caused a barrel blockage. it was received on May 28, 2014. First info that was given to me (via snail mail) was late July for the repair authorization, and how to cover the repair costs. I called, to expedite, rather than return by mail. They mentioned that if they didn't complete in a week, it would be two weeks later as they closed the 'shop' for two weeks in August. Now it's the end of September - two months later. Again my inquiry was met with a one line answer with no expected date of return - 'my barrel is backordered'.
So I've waited for 160 days since they received the revolver, 60 days since I approved the repair, to hear that my 'barrel is on backorder'!
BTW the proposal for the repair quoted 1 hour of labor...60 days ago.
The only communication I've received from the Performance Center is when I've called or emailed asking for information or an update. At no time have I been contacted and alerted of any delay or backorder or expected date of return.
Judging from the communication to this point, my credit card issuer will know when they've completed my repair before I will.

I sent in my 642-1 (broken hammer stud) on Sept 5th. I received a call on the 19th telling me they will ship a brand new 642-1 to my FFL of choice. And that I can expect to see it in 4-6 weeks.
