Default The Fraternal Twins

Here are my 2 police trade-in 38's. I picked up the 10-8 round butt a little over a month ago and the 64-5 last week. I was expecting an M10 square butt but was pleasantly surprised by the M64. I have had them both to the range and was not disappointed.

I do have a question on the M10. These are both Victoria Police Arsenal trade-ins and had the small round stamp on them. The M10 has "CDC" engraved on the frame. Any ideas as to what this refers to?

Thanks

Rick

My wife works for CDC&P which falls under HHS (not DHS) and they are so anti-gun it makes me sick. I'm thinking California Department of Corrections.

That's what someone else suggested but this revolver had a Victoria, Australia police arsenal tag on it. Could this gun been originally meant for Cali corrections but somehow been rerouted to the Aussies?

I think we have a member in Victoria, maybe in Melbourne. Maybe he'll see this. There's also a member from the NSW police, I believe. He told here how very few of these guns remain in Australia. A few in police museums; the rest not sent here were destroyed.
