Default 66-4 Lew Horton vs 66-6 Performance Center

A buddy got a hold of the 66-4 LH pre-lock which is additionally a Perf Center. It is the 3" with the ported barrel. Nice gun that I have wanted. I ended up finding a 66-6 3" Perf Center non LH with port a few years ago. It is a lock. He has found something he wants worse and will sell me the 66-4 LH PC for what he paid years ago. All things being equal I have to believe the pre lock Lew Horton is worth more and will always be worth more. So unless you guys tell differently I will probably end up buying his and possibly selling mine to pay for it. Thank you for your insight. Jon B

Nothing wrong with having both. I have -6 PC and just bought another -6 that has had a ton of work done on it.

Both guns are going to go up in value. You have a steal so sell some lesser gun and keep these two. That would be the smart move. They are both winners

Great advice thank you. I think you are right. I will do my best to hang on to both. Thanks for the reality check.

The 66-4 Lew horton pc has far more demand than the 66-6 and always will. The 66-4 will appreciate far more than the 66-6 as well.

Some LH guns are from the PC and some aren't. If it's from the PC it will be so marked on the frame, like any PC gun. If it ain't, if came off the standard production line.

Thanks for the replies, I appreciate those. This 66-4 in question is both PC and LH. I told him I would take it. Thanks again for your help and advice. Jn

Good for you, the pre lock will draw me over one with a lock everyday.
I think you made a good choice.
