Default model 25-15

Hi All, I have been on the search for a .45 Colt for a long while and I lost one yesterday, so I bid on another one today. The auction ends in a few hours. I know It`s a bit late for the asking, but any info on this newer model would be greatly appreciated, and I hope you`all can help me to not over bid on it By the way it is 6 inch and nickel . Thanks, Jack

Un-fortunatly I didn`t give you guys enough notice , so no was able to reply or give me advise, but I think I did alright. I was able to get a nickel 25-15 with beautiful stocks- I think I bought it just for them- for $730 ish.
I don't believe I could pass it up for that.I`ll post pix when it arrives.
This is the first time I ever bought a gun just because the stocks were so pretty, and the caliber was right.
I`m not really a nickel man, but this gun already has a scratch, so I`ll just shoot and enjoy it. I hate I lost out on the 125th anniv model, but now I don't have to deal with the too short cylinder or oversized throats. The $300 + I saved could buy lots of books medallions and belt buckles and I really did not care about the pretty wooden box- there are three of them taking up valuable safe room already!
The lock doesn`t brother me since this is just a play gun and not for serious work!

I'm looking forward to the pics! If you paid $730, then you did well. That's definitely reasonable for an N frame.

Here it is in much better condition than I expected, It actually looks brand new! Can some one please decipher the code on the box end, and tell me something about this proud beauty. Ser # is dbx7623? I`ll definitely be sending some lead down range soon. I think I`ll do a comparison of this with my Colt SAA.
Thanks in advance, Jack

Jack--beautiful revolver. From the few I have seen first hand, you got an incredible deal. 1. I rarely see them and 2. When I do $800 to $1k.
