640 Pro: who's carrying it?
Curious for feedback from people carrying the 640 Pro.
Any issues finding holsters due to the dovetail front sight and unusual barrel profile?
How's it carry IWB versus OWB?

I carry mine IWB in a Kramer IWB #2 holster I had for my 60-14 Ladysmith. It fits just fine.

I'm pretty sure I will be when I get mine. My 640 38 spl resides in my Kangaroo Carry every day, right where my 640 Pro will be.

I carried mine just today...
Barber shop; Wally World; lunch.
I generally carry it OWB in a Silver Dollar Pancake holster by Simply Rugged. Throw an untucked loose fitting shirt over it and call it good.

I carry my 640 Pro everywhere I go. I carry mine in my back pocket and it feels fine. I've never used an IWB or OWB holster, only an Uncle Mikes pocket holster.

640 pro carry
i used to own a 640 pro.
from what i recall, it fit in each "J frame generic" holster I own by DeSantis, Safariland, and others.
Never tried it IWB b-c I'm not an IWB carry guy for whatever reasons.
The few times I actually did carry it, it was either pocket or OWB in a Lobo enhanced pancake I ordered for it. Of course the Lobo was a custom holster, and it fit like a dream.

I carry mine everyday in a Remora IWB. This was the same holster I used for my 642. The one problem is I have the one without the reinforced top keeping the top of it open. So if I pulled it straight up out of the holster the top sight can catch on the top of the holster. A slight tip to the rear takes it right out. Works for me because it's like a rear sweeping motion. I'm not going to bother getting the reinforced top one because this one lays so flat against me there is almost zero printing.

I recently bought one and I am very impressed with it. I qualified with it last week and occasionally carry it in a Galco Fletch owb holster. As I posted in another thread the gun does shoot high with 125 grain ammo.

I carried mine in a Lobo Gunleather Original Pancake.
He made it for that gun.

I would carry one if I could find one. I have a 640-1 that I carry a lot. They are great little guns; easily concealed. They are quite excellent and accurate.
