Picked up a Model 610, 10mm
My newest S&W... a Model 610! I got it on a trade, and I think I did pretty well on it.

Naw...that is a horrible gun...but I'm willing to take it off your hands anyway!
Beautiful revolver!

Great job! I have looked for them once and a while with no luck. I do have a 625 JM, that is one of my favorites. A 547 would be cool to own too! Enjoy it! Bob

Why don't you tell us about the trade?
IWB carry is going to be a little challenging with that one

Congratulations on the trade.
Wonderful revolvers. You will soon learn why these are seldom found on the used market. These are some of the most accurate wheelguns S&W has produced and the owners just do not want to part with them.
I open the chambers on all of my 310/610 revolvers so that they can use the 10MM Magnum cartridge as well as the 10MM Auto and 40 S&W. The 10MM Magnum brings 10MM in to the 41 Magnum power range.

For that you would need one of these if you liked stainless
Or one of these if weight was an issue
10MM Magnum out of a 2 1/2" Scandium snubby is an experience

Congrats, looks like a nice one. Be warned the 10mm can be very addictive, enjoy it!! Best regards, Bob.

Congrat's on the beautiful M.610! I love mine, and I'm sure you will as well.
As other's have said, there's a reason you don't see them for sale very often. Not selling mine anytime soon!

Picked up a Model 610, 10mm
Wow, just saw a 625-5 4" 45lc. Thought the $1000 price was steep. Love the 10mm have a 310 but would love a 610.

For those of us w/ 45ACP 625's, don't forget the 45Super.
I shoot Underwood's 230gr XTP and their 255 hardcast through big hogs in up state Louisiana in the fall.
Some get the cylinder bored for 460 Rowland even.
Talk about magnum performance ... woof !!!
