Default 460 fireball

My dad has a thing for large caliber hand guns. Yesterday he brought out his s&w 460 and his taurus 454 casull. I forgot to take pics of the guns because we were having way too much fun sending lead down range. But got this cool fireball pic of the 460 and a slow motion video of shooting them both at the same time. The only way to describe how it felt is....intense. Enjoy

460 magnum vs 454 casull

Thanks! Actually I didn't feel the flame at all. I sure saw it though! Funny but after firing both at the same time I went over and picked up my j magnum and fired off a cylinder full one handed rapid fire. Yup, felt like a 22.

Kind of reminds me of my Coonan Classic shooting hot 357 Mag reloads with WW296 or Power Pro 300 MP powder. Love those fireballs

Coonan fireball

Not bad for a 357 Mag.

My dad keeps bugging me to load for his 460/500. He's gonna owe me a lot of powder it seems!

It's managable. The original owner added MagNaPorting to it, so I don't know what it was like before though.

Not sure why; it works on my end. But it's not important, Boogsawaste -just one of my feeble attempts at humor. I'm not sure how to post the picture, and don't have time right now to learn how.

I do enjoy the pictures already posted. I don't own one of the big boomers; thanks for sharing your experiences with them.

Regards,
Andy
