I was looking at a few here in upstate NY (all were -4 or -5) and they all ran around $1200. I bought a new 27 6.5" classic instead.

I see them priced higher but from what I can see I would expect it to sell, where I shop anyway, for $700-$800. Good luck.

The more desirable ones are the Model 27-2 and earlier based upon the pinned barrel, recessed cylinders and the three "T's", and even the target stocks. A variety of barrel lengths with varying length desirability.
The long barrel (8 & 3/8") may not be as desirable, but I love it for all in beauty of the checkered top strap and bluing.
I would have to go along with 22hipower's thoughts as to value of the OP mentioned revolver.
Based upon the stocks alone, they could be worth $150.00.

Thanks guys. He wants $550. Good price, but I have a 28-2 and if I add a 27 it will need more of the original glossy finish. Yes, I know the price will not be $550.

Looks like a real fair deal at $550. Hard to find a nice N frame for that price

I'd say for $550 grab it and shoot it.If you decide later to let it go you won't lose the money.

Where did you find those ? I've only seen one 28 locally.No 27s...

I would pay 550 for it, just because it is 550 and a 27 N frame. I personally have never had a 27, and probably never will. Why, because there are 28's and 29's. The 28's shoot as well, they are just not as polished, or have as many bbl options. Just my .02
