Default Has S&W changed the ILS?

The ILS has been with us for several years now and, although largely trouble free, has resulted in some reported revolver tie-ups. No doubt Smith and Wesson has been made aware of these events when they have occurred so my question is.. Has S&W made any changes or modifications to the ILS system since its introduction? Stronger springs or anything?

Just curious...
