Default My 629-1 with a fellow Stainless Friend

I snapped a few pics of one of my favorite Smiths, my 629-1, with my mildly worked Kimber Stainless II.

These are both now among my two favorite guns to shoot out of all my guns.

The 629 has such a sweet trigger, you'd swear it's been worked over, but I am sure S&W just made it that damn good.

The Kimber has been mildly customized over the years by JoJos in Southington CT.

The latest Mod I had done was swapping out the stock black iron sights with Metroplights and now that I can the sights better, it puts the rounds where I see the target.

The 629 is wearing Royal Walnut Kuracs, the Kimber is wearing custom Cherry slim grips with ball serrations for extra grip. The serrations are also on the front strap and rear strap, up to the grip safety.

Here's a few shots of them together.

Those are two great looking guns you have there. The Kuracs really set the 629 off!

Thanks 75!

My Kimber is really handsome, and it is really a great shooter with those new sites. I can see so much better with them.

Totally agreed on the Kuracs.

The 629 was wearing Pachs before.

You never would have noticed it. The Kuracs make it look like a new gun.

Highly recommended to anyone interested.
