Love to see improved handguns, any body can buy a gun, takes a real man to cut one up. I have a dozen or so. Cant find, or they don't make one, then make it !! I kind of like the Lego principle. Switch, add, cutoff, mix and match. Love your collection.

I thought a handgun to rifle conversion was strictly verboten under NFA? Or is it only the other way around?

Nice collection! Is the pipe at the bottom in case you run out of ammo?

So, after all those projects, you went out and bought a brand-spanking-new 4" model 69?
That's the only one that looks kind of, well - out of character, in the collection. Can you cut it down to a snubbie or something? The ball detent should hold it tight methinks.

You can make pistols into rifles, you can not make rifles into pistols.
I got the model 69 looking to convert it to 45ACP, but tthe cylinder walls would become very thin on outside. I posted a thread on that today also. I could cut it down to 3" by making a new inner piece as it has a 2 piece barrel. I already have 2 5 shot 44 specials with 3" barrels so will probably leave it stock.
The "pipe is a 20" piece of .452 barrel part of which will become a 6" heavy barrel for the 1917 which had a poor barrel. Will probably have a full length rail on top.
