Nickle or Stainless Steel?
I have just picked up this Model 29-3. s/n AJH5687

Probably made in 1992 or 1993.
I would like to find out if this is in Nickle or Stainless Steel. Just curious.

Hello,
It's nickel plated. The serial# dates it to about 1985. Looks quite nice too!

To be stainless the model number would be 629. JFYI.

It looks like it has K frame stocks on it.

Might want to "flesh" that info out a bit for him weatherby, seeing as how the Mdl. "29" number didn't tell him nickel, as opposed to SS.
I know you to be a knowledgeable grips and stocks man, likely even got a correct set ?

Hi Mike what I said about the grips/stocks.
They most definitely appear to be for a smaller framed gun ie K frame
An N frame set would fit much better and be less painful to shoot I might add. One fun thing you get to do though is go grip hunting and find a cool set for a fine nickel gun.
