I just picked up this 29-3 3". It looks almost unfired to me. The guy said it was a 1985 Lew Horton. (200 made that year?) I don't have my book near, does anyone know the serial range for these guns?
Thanks!

I just bought an ALB 29-3 3 inch. I confirmed it was a Lew Horton. Fantastic shooter. Made in 85. Also have a 29-4 3 inch that I found out was not a Horton but a Smith run in 89. Gotta love those 3 inch N frames.

I just picked up my first N Frame 2 days ago!

I'm looking forward to spending some time with it. I only got to put a few cylinders through it. I own and love its cousin the 686PC 2.5" and carry it daily. I have some holsters on the way for the 627 and look forward to carrying this beast!

I'm not sure that "lover" is quite a strong enough adjective, I'm leaning more towards "addict". I just can't seem to have enough of them.

It started off innocently enough, a 3" 629-1 fifteen months ago. Then a 686-4+, my first L frame snubbie. I think I'm close to three dozen to date... and my checking account will never be the same.

I'm not much of a photographer, but I will try to attach a pic. This is most of the 44 Magnums in my modest collection. This photo was taken at the NE Ohio "bunch" fall meeting.

This was my first attempt at a display. I believe there are a dozen 3" 44 Magnums shown. Bob

Great looking revolvers, guys. Although I must confess, the thought of shooting a 3" 629...well, I'm still a bit wary of my 6 incher!
