I cant find that product number and the serial number is after the last range of ct----- in 2004. One of these best things I have done is download the digital copy of scsw on my phone and tablet. Now it's always with me. I rarely pull out my hard copy anymore.

2004 or after. That's about the time the SCSW quits. Others may have other lists.

The product code has 2 date spreads- 02-05 or 04-06. Depends which model you have. The 02-05 has red ramp, white outline rear sight, shrouded hammer and il. The other has Satin stainless, stainless cyl, rubber grips, white outline sight, red ramp,. Is this a dash 6?

Now that I have a date the gun may not be listed in the last edition. It is 3.5 months since shipment.

The Smith service desk fellow said gee it is really new....
