Question Question About Smith Model 360PD Scandium/Titanium

Hello all:

I was just reading a friend's post and he mentioned that the DA Model 340 PD had been discontinued. I am thinking that my little Model 360PD cannot be far behind.

Based on that and without my own research my questions are these:

Should I put up my little Model 360PD and make a "safe queen" of it? Or should I continue to use it as an EDC and put many, many rounds through it? Will it stand up to the usage? Will the usage hurt its value?

I bought it used for a very good price. I have been offered $250 more than I paid for it. I do not have the box and papers and use it for a carry piece.

These are my thoughts.

Yours?

rd

Mine is a safe queen but have considered making it my edc - I'm interested in what everyone has to say.

My 2 cents: if you like shooting it & like carrying it - continue to enjoy it.

S&W is only discontinuing the 340 with the red ramp front sight. They still offer the Hi-Vis front sight. I don't think your 360 will ever achieve collector status.

Mac,

That update is welcomed. It may not get up to collector status by it certainly is going up in value even as I type.

Thanks,
