Blew apart my M&P 340 today
Decided it was too windy to shoot today, so I decided to get more familiar with my 340. Some guys here have said their newly puchased revolvers were bone dry from the factory, which spiked my curiousity. Mine did have lube, but had a little dirt & lint, so this is time well spent IMO. Putting it back together right now.

Whew, you had me "afeard" for a moment there!
Some people make big deal about how you should never take the sideplate off, but as long as you have an idea of what you are doing its not hard. Just don't force anything.

After you put it back together, how many leftover parts did you have?

I'm willing to bet that he gets it all back together & working better than ever. I don't have the skill to do what Roger did so I'm envious. He must be a mechanic or something.

I guess my sense of humor doesn't show up on the web.
I took every last piece apart, cleaned, inspected, and lubed. Don't know that it made much difference in performance, but perhaps longetivity is improved? But I feel better having done it.
Did the 43C as well.

Maybe English isn't the OP's first language. I think you meant to say "took apart". "Blew apart" had a completely different mental image. Glad you were not injured by the experience.

SPAM, the original apocalypse food. Everybody needs a case or two in the pantry/cellar.
I'm surprised nobody noticed the bargain on London Broil.

Hey look, pineapples for 79 cents a pound!
I always pop the side plate off on a new S&W wheel gun, clean the tiny bits, and give 'em a bit of lube.
