Default Some DIY upgrades to my 3" m60

I decided to make new grips and a holster for my model 60.

Very nice! I like how you did those grips. Seeing your pictures makes me want to try and attempt to make a set myself. What sort of wood did you use?

That is black walnut finished sort of on the rough side so they won't get too slippery.

Nicely done, sir! For anyone who has not tried it, this is harder than you make it look.

My first several attempts eventually resulted in my buying some Altamont grips. But, the method I tried involved moving the work with the router bit spinning, rather than your more patient process. As a result, the router bit moved in my drill press chuck destroying the wood.

You may have inspired me to try again. Thank you, I think.
