Default When as it built?

I just picked up a used 4" 686 and was wondering if there is any information about it.

Serial No is ACV6258686, other marking are x7647 and,

S
E15

Trigger pull cocked is around 4 Lb. Double action is 10 Lb.

Overall very nice shooter.

Bryan

Welcome to the forum, Bryan.

I suspect the serial number is ACV6258 (take off the grips and look on the butt of the grip frame). The "686" at the end of your serial number is the model number. The other markings are factory assembly numbers and mean nothing.

Your gun would likely have shipped from the factory between January 1983 and October 1983.
