I've been carrying on the belt a 640Pro. It is a very nice J-frame revolver and is comfortable to carry. I carry it with 125 grain .357 magnum loads.
I am thinking of adding a 686 plus snubbie to my collection. I like this one:

My question relates to carry. Has anyone made this J-frame to L-frame transition with a on the belt holster for concealed carry? And what is your feeling on this?
Is it a burden to carry? Do you think the extra two rounds and reduced perceived recoil worth the change?
And there seems to be very few holsters for this (on the belt carry). I like a high ride with no thumb snap. I've seen Galco's and they both have thumb snaps. Any recommendations?
