If it's in good shape, then it was a good buy at $400. You
don't see them for sale all that often.
There is another thread running on the 15 snubnose in the
1961 to 1980 section.

There seem to be a lot of people "discovering" the 2" model 15 lately. And there a lot of long-time fans. I love my 4" 15 and would like to add a 2". I'd jump on a nice one for $400.

In my area a clean one would be $550 to $600 retail.
I just traded one in on a new Stainless Steel, 3", Adjustable Sight GP100.

Congrats on your newest!

Those are the Cadillac of .38 snubs.

It seems to be easier to use photobucket or imageshack to upload photos than straight from a computer.

If you are using GB as your guideline and your 15-3 is in 90% plus condition without a box that is a terrific price, if I had the opportunity I would be all over that deal, if this was a FTF that would make it even better. Congratulations

Are you speaking about the scuffing or lack of finish on the S&W logo? If so, you still got a great deal. I could easily live with that. I'm a new owner of a !5-4 snub. I paid $550 about 3 months ago and no box, docs or tools and about the same condition as yours minus the scuffing. And, best of all it is a fantastic accurate shooter. I'm betting yours will be too.

Yeah, Shorty's advice about Photobucket or Imageshack is good. I don't know about Imageshack but I've used Photobucket for a couple of years now and it is great, and better yet, it's free. When you use these services your pics come to the forum big and not as thumbnails as yours currently do. There's a little bit of learning curve but once you get it, it's quite simple. I know there are some great threads here on the forum for advice and help.

Good luck with your Md 15. I may be in the minority here, but I think the square butt 15 snub is one of the best looking snubs ever.
