I have "several" pretty S&Ws... But in keeping with this forum's date range, I would have to select this one. It's my 24-5...

And here it is wearing some John Culina target stocks in pink eucalyptus.

I like that look a lot! Waiting on a set of maple combats for my 327 NG from the Culinas myself.

OK, I tend to stretch things! It did not say revolver! So, here is 1 of my best looking. S&W 1911, that I picked up Dec. 2015. To me, it just looks so nice. Not to mention, it is the favorite of my 1911's. I need to take some outside pics. Bob

Time for another best looking one. Here's a 27-2 with a 3.5 inch barrel made in 1974 I just picked up. They just keep getting better as time goes by. Two grip options. I just put a pair of Keith Brown Ropers on it last night. . .no pictures yet. It's fun changing out grips.

I only have 8 children by Mrs. Smith and I think they are all beautiful.
It's not possible, for me, to choose a favorite, but I got this old Model
67 (no dash) Combat Masterpiece several years ago. It had some dings
and scratches in the stainless steel, so I had it bead blasted into this
satin finish that I think is quite attractive. I think the black Craig Spegel
designed Uncle Mike's stocks is a good contrast. The holster is by Oliver
O. Ball, a former Lt. Homicide Detective on the Dallas PD, who passed on
a few years ago.
I have enjoyed this thread DocB. Thank you.

Default Hands Down the Best Looking is...

The first one I bought which is the "1984 Limited Edition Model 686 Compact 1st one Hundred". For Lew Horton Distributors shipped from factory on January 15, 1985. Previous owner was a professional competitive shooter and he recieved the S&W Historic Letter Dated on September 1, 2011. According to him, this 686 is NIB, original and only test fired (as of July 24, 2016).

I really like this one that I have despite it having a funny looking hammer and a teenie-weenie rear sight.

What is up with those features? I don't see any other guns in this thread with both of those problems!

I posted a pic of this revolver earlier in the thread... but just added new grips and grabbed a pic and thought it would be good to share here.

Model 10-11, ex-Victoria Police, with new VZ grips. Old, with a little rust and worn bluing, but as tight and accurate as can be.

Default Best I could do

It's not the best picture all I have is a camera on my cheap Wallyworld TracFone but I thought I'd share BIG Hoss on the thread just the same.

Just got back from the hole-in-the-wall dump indoor range that's close by cause I bought some different brands of ammo and kinds I wanted to try out real quick. When I get out to my club again I'll be more relaxed and have more time to spend anyway.

Today I ran some new Sig Sauer LC 230g a Lehigh Defense LC (at almost $3.50 a round) and I tried out a new Federal triple-odd defense .410 bore.

Got in and got the heck out because that dump is not a very comfortable place to shoot at. Everything ran fine but I'll feel better when I'm at the club and can really give it a good look over and trial.

Here are two, they are a toss up, to me, and both are ready to be given to my son, when I'm through with them. one is an old Mod 15, and one a Mod. 27. Don't know if he will even be welcome to have them in his house, when I'm gone.

Well, since the OP used the words "in your opinion".....and since we can all agree that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, here's mine. I have some other Smith's, but this one is "beautiful" to me, circa 1925. And, no hole above the thumbpiece.

A few attempts at some artistic rendering of my 686. (Paired with a 45-70 Gov't on one)

Edit to add it would seem I misspelled Amendment in the image. Back to work on that one.

My 27-2, all dressed up with no place to go. To my eyes she's prettier than Miss McGillicuddy.

Tough call, however I think this six inch 586-4 with an exceptionally nice factory finish and a nice set of S&W Combat Stocks wins the prize. Especially since I've sold all the nickle and high polish stainless S&W's I owned. Python Shmyton.
