Mine are a bunch of shooters. This 15-4 is probably the least banged up.

Interesting....... several years ago I was lamenting that ammo was being sold in 20 rd boxes vs. the standard 50 round boxes I grew up with..............

In BRush's photo..... 12 round.... box of .45s

Well at least it's 2 cylinders full....... not 3+2 or 8+2

" Your Best looking Smith "

Must by definition fall into two categories.
Modified, and un modified .

By the simpler definition I will post my best of the best here.

For the most part, modified. Not Factory.

Factory but for the Ivory grips.

Brushed Chrome definitely not factory but most agree this
is a very handsome package.

The scarcity and the slender barrel on the model 26-1
makes them perennial favorites of all N frame fans.
Just like a 5 inch model 27 , but in 45 Colt.

Beautiful deep blue model 25.
a factory re work.

Regards,
Allen Frame

I can't believe this thread is still going strong after 3 days. . .nearly 5000 views and getting close to 150 posts. . .wow maybe a new record! I guess I'll post a picture of one I just took out to the backyard and fired off a bunch of wadcutters through. It's 105 years old and I was shooting kind of fast single action. Kept them within 6 inches at 40 feet all centered around the point of aim. Pretty good for the age of the gun and the age of me.

Ask a bunch of ego maniacs with gun collections to post pictures
of their favorites.
What DID you expect?

Just got these excellent grips in the mail from Mr. Spegel--nice guy--very pleased with them, and well worth the wait:

I've put 50 rounds through it and it shoots great. First 5 rounds at 20 yards, double action, went into a group the size of a softball. It likes the Remington +P 158 LHPs.

Impossible for me to pick a favorite but I do like this Nickel Model 57 (no dash) that I rescued from a pawn shop this week.

Trying to choose favorite is like choosing favorite kid.. I've got 2 kids, so here are my 2 favorite S$W's..

Oh, heck.. heres my 2 favorite kids too... with these same Smiths..

And , yes... they have both shot these guns!!

Note: both have the 8 3/8 gun , one has a 4" 500, the other a NAA Mini (saw this after posting the pics, sorry)
