Default Wheel guns and knives to compliment them: lets see them

So Im a firm believer that a knife is just as valuable of a tool as a firearm. So with that being said lets see your knives that compliment your choice of wheel gun.

Im strange and have certain knives I carry with certain revolvers just for the fact they look good together.

Heres mine M&P340 with a micro tech ultratech.

There. Now nobody has to feel embarrassed to post a blue-worn Model 10 and a Buck folder.

Beautiful knives. Making mine look bad lol. I've been working on rust bluing a Becker bk16 to go with an older blued wheel gun but no shops around here get used revolvers. Living by a military base the main guns are tactical firearms, they sell the best.

My revolvers are somewhat shy. They are embarrassed by compliments.

Love it! I have the same Puma I bought over 40 years ago. BTW if you've never seen it, "Evil Roy Slade" is freakin hilarious!

I could spend all week photographing & posting my revos & knives. Here's what I've got on hand:

3" 64-5. My latest acquisition and rapidly becoming my favorite DA-shooter. I dunno who did the jeweling & action job, but the latter is sweet!

Buck 112 that I re-scaled in mesquite & ground down the bolsters for pocket carry:

My 45 mountain gun, stocks by Culina, and a file knife made by a local friend. John was nice enough to supply the friend with some stocks to match and instructions on how to finish it out.

Some really sweet combos above. Especially some of the old school looks with stag and nice wood.

While I am not a big knife guy, I do always carry one. I have a couple of Microtech out-the-front automatic knives: an Ultratech and a Combat Troodon. Here are some of my carry combos:

386 Night Guard & Ultratech

586 L-Comp & Ultratech

FN Five Seven & Combat Troodon

Glock 19 & Combat Troodon

almost similar to my carry. I had a nice combat troodon but sold it to someone who offered me a lot.

Beautiful stuff here everybody. I love my knives just as much as my guns. Here's a few pics.

617-6 with Ahrends rosewood grips and my Dr T. custom Lanny's clip.

Here's my new 360J with Altamont rosewood grips and a GEC Northfield Viper with natural stag scales.

I'll play. The butterfly knife was brought back from the Philippines as a gift, he said the maker told him the steel came from melted down ball bearings. I have no idea if true or not but interesting folklore. The stocks on the Model 13 are Grashorns.

Default Wheel guns and knives to compliment them: lets see them

Ok, you asked for it:

17-3 and my trusty Kershaw 1050:

The Model 17 is trusty as well. And yes, it just came home from the range and needs to be cleaned.

The two that've been with me the longest, my 3-screw Blackhawk and Puma Bowie:

64-3 and Buck 500:

24-3 with a Buck 501 Squire:

Gramp's 1917 Army with a U.S. Camillus utility knife dated 1967. Also Kabar trapper-style that I think belonged to my Grandfather.

Nothing fancy or tactical, just practical.

Here are a couple of mine. A 1955 with a 44 mag cylinder reamed to 45 colt and cut for acps with a Damascus fighter I made. Fossil walrus handle

And here is a 629 made into a dual 45 with a D2 bladed recurve

Know the photos suck, but light box and good camera are not here.

Beautiful revolver, knife and holster rig. Who did the leather? Thanks

This is my Model 60-4 to which I added a set of ebony(?) grips from Thailand via eBay. The little Gentleman's Knife is marked S&W but came from China... apparently they build them on spec, but it was cleared out through Smokey Mtn Knife Works. I like it because the main blade locks and it has a screw driver blade as well. Nice to carry (both of them! )

Hi everyone, this is my first post on the S&W forum.
Just stumbled across this thread and wanted to say thanks for all the great photos; truly some beautiful combos and images. Looking forward to becoming a part of the community and enjoying all your comments. Here is a shot of my 686-Plus with the Ratweiler by Busse Knife Group.

Heres mine M&P340 with a micro tech ultratech.

I see your M&P340 and Ultratech, and raise you a 640 J-Comp and Halo III

Default 500 Emergency Survival Kit

They came paired together from the Mothership. They must be made for each other.
