627-3 V Comp pre lock
I have 627-3 V Comp cornered at lgs priced at $800 plus tax. Is this a reasonable price? was only able to find one on GB and the asking price was close to 2K! All help will be much appreciated.

Buy it, ASAP! For just the gun that's a great price and if it's in great condition with the case and everything else it's an even better deal.

Yep that's a must buy. Any pre-lock 627 for a good price should be a buy-on-sight gun!

So true. ANY pre lock PC gun for that matter, but 627s are some really sweet shooters.

That price is barely more than I paid NIB over 15 yrs. ago. I'm the kind of guy who always wonders if there's something wrong to be priced so low. Go back and look it over closely and buy if it looks righteous!
BTW the comp is useless and fills up with crud and lead and is a pain to clean out. However you can buy a plain nosecap to replace the comp from S&W.
