Picked up a 586 no dash today
Picked up a 586 no dash today. I have one other 4 inch that's a -4 round butte I bought 1 1/2 years ago. Ran across this one and was quite pleased. It was rainy and heavily overcast when I got it home so no great photos. I also have two 6 inch. One with 4 position adjustable front sight.

Nice one sir. Your "bad" pic looks pretty darn good. Can't wait to see your good ones! I'm in that same funk here in Ga. Fixin' to build an Ark...Congrats on a gorgeous gun.

Wow, nice find. I looked for a no dash 4" for a long time and ended up buying a 686.
I should have been shopping at your yard sales, with 4 one may have been inadvertantly laid on the table.

Those days make for the best photos because you don't have to fight shadows.

I do wildlife photography so realize the advantages. I shoot in a window with indirect light. It was getting late in the afternoon and pouring rain so not enough light without adding a lot of noise. I usually just use my iPad for gun photos as not trying to get to complex. Just a nice detailed image. Usually fighting glare from Culinas grips and the gun. Just got a new iPhone 6 and between that and iPad usually get a really nice pic. Hopefully today will be better,

Had some more interesting light today. Also added the Culinas.
