Question Thunder Ranch .44 Special

Did the Thunder Ranch .44 Special with out the embelishments have a specific Model Number? Where they all Mod.21-4's? How about a separate SKU? Not referring to the "Classic Model"

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Default TR 21-4

Per the SCSW, the 21-4 is the Thunder Ranch Special. All are RB 4-inch N-frames. Product Code is 161237, built in 2004. There is a nickel version, built in 2006, that has a product code of 150013. I've got the 45ACP version of the TR reintroduction, the 22-4. Looks like the dash four guns are both reintro's...

The 44 Specials that Clint Smith got Smith&Wesson to built all have the Model 21-4s.

S&W did make the Model 21 non-thunder ranch at the same time as well. You can usually find them on Gunbroker. Same gun but minus any action work and logo.

I have a Thunder Ranch 22 45ACP. Basically the same as the 21 TR just in 45acp. One of my favorite and nicest shooting Smiths.
