Default New tubed barrels on model 66/69

Anyone like the new shrouded barrels? I heard it's supposed to be more accurate and/or makes production costs lower. Personally, I dislike the look of it very much & will lean towards Ruger more in the future if Smith decides to make it a standard. If I wanted tubes, I would go to a big box orange store

What are your thoughts?
Thanks

I have a two-piece 66-7 which they made for an Aussie police order. It shoots very well and looks fine. S&W also makes the 64 with a two-piece barrel. I have heard no complaints. The new style two piece barrels in the 66-8 and 69 look even better (though I have not fallen in love with the two tone hardware).

Besides looks, what are your concerns? BTW, the Ruger LCRs are two-piece barrels.
